Our camps all include lessons in martial arts that aim to develop physical skills as well as life skills such as building confidence, focus, teamwork, respect, and self-esteem.
Every activity works to develop positive emotional and mental strength.
Each week of our summer camp features the following activities:
- daily martial arts class
- beginner nunchaku or sword lesson
- daily nerf battles
- themed crafts
- slacklines and ninja lines, gladiator battle, bumper balls, and various other active games/drills along with friendly individual and team competitions
- trips to the local park, splash pad, and outdoor pool for swimming
- hotdog lunch on Fridays
Each week’s martial arts classes, drills, and competitions also have a focus on developing specific skills centered around a specific theme. Below is a brief description of our weekly themes.

Focus and attention are foundational skills not only for success in learning and applying martial arts but also in many areas of life. This week’s drills are designed to help kids practice controlling the urge to let distractions steal their focus, allowing them to stay on task even amidst chaos.
These exercises help enhance concentration, making them invaluable for participants in summer camp Belleville.

This week at camp, kids will learn about and practice increasing their strength and power.
They will engage in activities designed to safely boost their physical strength. Additionally, participants will discover various ways to enhance the power of their techniques through proper mechanics, intensity, and focus, alongside building their physical strength.

This week we focus on ducking, dodging, and fast controlled footwork. Kids will learn and practice footwork for both defensive and offensive movements, including entering, exiting, and changing angles.
They will also concentrate on staying calm and focused as they work on controlling reflexive and emotionally charged movements.

Mental and emotional strength is vital for both kids and adults to navigate difficult situations and intense emotions. By teaching our children at a young age to use tools such as meditation, breathwork, mantras, self pep-talks, proper goal setting, dream building, and self-image development skills, we set them up for success later in life. This week will emphasize experiencing and practicing these essential skills. All our camps incorporate these valuable life lessons, but this particular week will have an extra focus on successfully applying tools essential to mastering mental and emotional strength.

To land those impressive high kicks and spinning techniques, it's essential to have good balance, coordination, and flexibility. This week kids focus on fun exercises and challenges designed to enhance these three areas, keeping them strong and agile at all times.
This weeks activities will help them build a solid foundation, making them difficult to knock over and enabling them to land higher kicks with better control.

This week kids will focus on improving their speed; including striking speed, kicking speed, fast footwork, body movement, and defensive movements. Kids will practice enhancing their speed and timing through a variety of fun active drills and friendly competitions.

This week is all about practicing confidence and courage. Through engaging drills, kids learn about and practice confident body language, speaking with assurance, and overcoming challenges that require bravery.
Campers are given opportunities to successfully handle difficult situations and interactions, building their confidence by celebrating their courage and achievements.

This week kids will learn and practice the art of deflecting, evading, and intercepting attacks.
Campers will develop the important skill of keeping calm and focused under stress, allowing them to deflect, duck, dodge, catch, and evade simulated strikes and kicks from various levels and angles.

This week will focus on how to take your opponent to the ground and how to defend and attack from a ground position. This theme is specifically designed for our youth training camp kids.
They will be learning essential skills such as takedowns, grappling, wrestling, and jiu jitsu, as well as the importance of good awareness, communication, and respect when training with a partner.
